You’ve seen the story of Hector and Paris as they fought for their beloved Troy, the adventure of Capt. Jack Sparrow and his fellow pirates as they fought for their lives. This time, grab the chance to see the journey of one of our very own local mythical heroes in a UNESCO declared “Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritages of Humanity”. As Philippine Ballet Theatre presents Darangen ni Bantugen, a Maranao epic, expect a fusion of rich culture and vibrant colors. Bantugen treats you to live action scenes and fantastic transitions to different worlds, which will surely make your imaginations run wild. All these, plus fight for survival and his one true love, in a spectacular display of exceptional dances by Gener Caringal and Ronilyo Jaynario, impeccable set and costume design by Salvador Bernal, and flawless music by Jesse Lucas.
