Pump Up For Pacquiao
November 13th, in Events by Apryl Galang
This Saturday at Music and Wine, Pacman fans and supporters gather at Martinis to lift a glass to Manny and send him our best wishes as he prepares for the fight of his life. He’s had to move up a weight category to challenge the naturally bigger Cotto and, if he wins, Pacquiao will join Oscar De La Hoya as the only boxers ever to hold major world titles in six different divisions.
The stakes are big, and the drinks are bigger! Ines is concocting at the bar a line-up of cocktails that will knock you right in the kisser, such as the Rope-a-dope, T.K.O., Pacman Punch, Below the Belt, and the Bloody Nose. If wine is more your thing, they’re featuring Rosemount Wines from Australia, perfect for viewing some of Manny’s past fights on the plasma screens while listening to some of the best modern lounge music in the town.
On November 14, Saturday at the Martinis Bar, Mandarin Oriental. To download their latest [MUSIC AND WINE Radio] podcast, log on to www.musicandwineradio.com.
