The place itself is a cozy little nook in the heat of the city but away from the crowds. The servings are big enough to share (pasta, paninis, monte cristos and more old family recipes) or just enjoy on your own. And after your meal, pick a dessert or a drink (or maybe both) to cap of the whole experience.

Signature offerings: 30 Kitchen + Bar boasts of being the only restaurant in Cebu offering a wide variety of simple desserts. French toast is offered with over 20-plus flavor combos with different homemade toppings. Some of them for the sweet tooth while others for those with a much tamer palate.

While the sausage and spice pasta are luring all pasta lovers to come taste it. The idea of fresh tomatoes and bite-sized spicy Hungarian sausage will make you lusciously drool just by reading this.

Another favorite is the Constantine, a big sandwich that consists of thinly sliced US Angus beef, onions, tomatoes, lettuce and cucumber with creamy garlic and barbeque sauce, all stuffed in a panini. And for those who like it hot, drizzle on some of their hot chili sauce.

And to keep happy hour as happy as it should be, try their most popular cocktail called “Yen’s Confusion”. It comes in a carafe for a more interactive drinking session with friends. Just make sure you’ve agreed on the designated driver to take everyone home safely.
