East Meets West Celebrations

February 1st, in Editor's Note by Jan Raymond Conadera

February 2010 starts with a double celebration: Chinese New Year and Valentine Day fall on the same day, the 14th. Can you imagine how the different establishments will prepare for this day?

Without a doubt, these various bars, clubs and restaurants will come up with some unique party concepts that will marry these two auspicious occasions. I believe that on this date, it would be awesome to be up and about and be in a frenzy.

Here are some checklists from Circuit team for those partying on the 14th of February:

  • Make sure that you plan ahead and book your reservations in advance.
  • Expect slow moving traffic in densely populated areas on the Big Red Letter Day. Ergo, find alternate routes early.
  • Parking can be quite a hassle so keep your cool when looking for the next available slot.
  • Check out the coolest treats and unique themes that establishments have to offer.
  • Make sure you log on to www.circuitmag.net or stay tuned to Circuit TV (Wednesdays, 8:30PM on Skycable Channel 25) and Circuit Radio (Thursdays, 8AM on Jam 88.3) for the freshest V-day event updates.

And for those single and sexy, I am very sure that there will be more parties and celebrations for being unattached and fabulous. Check out this month’s Circadian as we introduce two new dining places to gather your dateless pals.

Circuit welcomes the year of the Metal Tiger with high-energy and positive attitude. Flip through our Circuit Breaker section as we give you our fearless forecast to re-energize your lunar calendar.

Have a Perfect 10 to everybody and claim it!
