The 4th Grey Goose Invitational: Manila’s Finest Team Up In High Spirits!

It was a most auspicious day as Manila Society’s finest trooped to the splendid Sta. Elena Golf Club. The day started a bit rainy in the early morning, but sunny skies prevailed by mid-morning as the 4th Grey Goose Invitational set-off to a rousing shotgun tee-off.

An annual event and now on its fourth year, this year’s GREY GOOSE Invitational added a new dimension with competing players forming their own Teams to add that extra mix of challenge. Grey Goose is a natural fit with the sport, as the brand’s image fires up the competitive spirit and kindles the passion for the gentleman’s sport. As further expounded by Bobby Campos, Grey Goose Philippine Commercial Manager, “Grey Goose is one of the finest crafted vodka that originates from Cognac, France, home to the world’s most respected experts in spirit making. Grey Goose vodka benefits from the region’s rich tradition. Made from the finest French wheat, the same wheat used to create delicious French pastries, and employs an exclusive five-step distillation process to concentrate its exceptional flavor. Pure spring water naturally filtered through Champagne limestone is then blended with the spirit. Grey Goose vodka is lush, smooth and rounded and melts in the mouth with a long-lasting, satisfying finish.”

The fun continued well into the evening with a 19th Hole Celebration at Sta. Elena’s Guest House grounds. The programme’s proceeding was ably hosted by the lovely and gracious Jinri Park. Adding more fun to the celebrations were the special raffle prizes and surprises provided by event partners.

The tournament winners for the Class C Division: Marco De Guzman – 2nd Runner-up, Raj Moreno – 1st Runner-up and  Champion – Noel Sebastian, while Class B winners were: Marc Naval – 2nd Runner-up, Willy Tee Ten -  1st Runner-up and Champion – Andrew Budiman, and the Class A division winners: John Galang – 2nd Runner-up, Vince Lauron – 1st Runner-up and Champion – Danny Morales, while Lowest Gross Champion and Longest Drive went to Raymond Sangil, Closest to the Pin – Paul Salvador, and finally Team Championship went to Bond Urban Pub.
