Big In December

December 1st, in Editor's Note by Jan Raymond Conadera

Every time I order from a fast food chain, the counter person would always ask me ” Sir, would you like to upsize your order?” This December, the Circuit team asks you ” Would you like to upsize your celebrations?”

We encourage you this holiday season to have an extra-large blast and upgrade your giving this month. Let’s make it more memorable than previous years. Do something different or unusual this season. You can lend a helping hand and allot some time to charity. Start now by being the “bigger person” who is more understanding and compassionate. Eventually, this exciting perspective will pave the way for bigger and brighter things to come.

But of course, you have to reward yourself too for all that effort. Be the person to jumpstart the merry activities amongst your friends and family. Be the first to give the presents or organize the Christmas parties or plan the long weekend holiday.

This issue, Circuit Breaker suggests gifts that would unleash the uniqueness for your dear loved ones. Flip out the Grid for a…

Our October cover girl needs no further introduction since she has become such a familiar face in the fashion and beauty scene. Undoubtedly, Mikaela Lagdameo has probably grown up right before our eyes.  From becoming a favorite teen magazine cover girl to a sophisticated lady gracing numerous campaigns here and abroad, she has definitely bagged it all.

At 24, she has reached the top peak of her career and a fulfilling personal life.  What more can a girl ask for?  Definitely, she isn’t the type who would be content on whatever she has already achieved. Instead, she’s an eager beaver soul setting her sights on conquering new heights and improving her craft.

The Circuit Team got to know Mika and her top Six-crets during our cover shoot.  We’re amazed with what we have discovered about her.

1. How did you start into modeling? “I started at 15, which was really by accident. It was never something I thought I would do. I was spotted at a teen magazine anniversary party, they asked to do an editorial. At the…

Shopping and Sipping

August 30th, in Editor's Note by Jan Raymond Conadera

This month, the Circuit team decided to do our homework ahead of time. As early as September, we have gathered new items that will storm the shelves of your favorite stores; items that you wish will also end up in your racks as well.  Check out our Circuit Breaker section where we give you a guide to your ‘must-haves’. Hopefully, this will be a time-worthy wait for the much-anticipated Christmas season or if you really can’t resist, go ahead and grab these hot items as the holiday spirit jumpstarts.

Our September issue also updates you on what’s the buzz at The Fort area. These two new hot spots will surely make a big impact in the area by adding more electricity to the district. We just hope that traffic in the parking area is managed properly especially during the 2AM curfew limit unless they extend the party hours to spare everyone from the parking exodus.

Unfold The Grid and check out what and who is rocking in your neighborhood. We want to hear more from you, shout…

Keep it Pop and Coming!

August 1st, in Editor's Note by Jan Raymond Conadera

Keep It Pop and Coming!

Our issue reveres a movement that incorporates elements of modern popular culture and the mass media. Pop art has always been our inspiration. In fact, it keeps us on a constant search on what will be the current buzz in the metro.

We have observed a trend when it comes to shopping and dining. Perhaps this is a result of those weekend markets that have slowly evolved into an everyday experience. The laid back atmosphere where you can order a familiar dish and shop for highly coveted items that are usually not found in the malls.

Our Circadian section offers you two destinations that will provide you the relaxed weekend feel anytime of the week. Interestingly, this experience will not only satisfy your appetite but will also enrich your creativity and fashion sensibility.

At our Circuit Breaker section, the team has spotted hot items that will fit your appetite for the good life. The seamless combination of this season’s coolest gadgets for the modern movements is definitely going to rock the city.

Speaking of gadgets,…
