Over the last week of January, the Creating Comics, Manga, and Graphic Novels Seminar 2010, a 2-day intensive seminar for artists who want to expand their God-given talents was made possible by Glasshouse Graphics, Inc. in cooperation with Konsepto Events. It was held at the Green Room of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde’s School of Design and Arts building. The seminar was well attended by more than 200 talented Filipino artists and even foreigners from other countries like India.

It showcased in depth discussion about different techniques in creating comics and some latest good things on programs like Google Sketchup and Manga Studio. Not only did the speakers taught the attendees about creating comics alone but most importantly they dealt on how to work with editors, preparing a professional portfolio, and other tips that could help them be a professional in the field of comics, which exactly is the objective of Glasshouse Graphics, Inc.
