East Meets West Celebrations

February 1st, in Editor's Note by Jan Raymond Conadera

February 2010 starts with a double celebration: Chinese New Year and Valentine Day fall on the same day, the 14th. Can you imagine how the different establishments will prepare for this day?

Without a doubt, these various bars, clubs and restaurants will come up with some unique party concepts that will marry these two auspicious occasions. I believe that on this date, it would be awesome to be up and about and be in a frenzy.

Here are some checklists from Circuit team for those partying on the 14th of February:

  • Make sure that you plan ahead and book your reservations in advance.

  • Check out the coolest treats and unique themes that establishments have to offer.
  • Make sure you log on to www.circuitmag.net or stay tuned to Circuit TV (Wednesdays, 8:30PM on Skycable Channel 25) and Circuit Radio (Thursdays, 8AM on Jam 88.3) for the freshest…

It seemed like she has done it all.  But then again, she chose to pursue her other passion– hosting by auditioning as a VJ in the newly reformatted Channel V local franchise. Here she is now excited for the new opportunity…

The Grand InVasion

September 1st, in Circuit Training by Jan Raymond Conadera

Channel [V] has already landed in Philippine shores with a bang! America’s favorite house DJ Bad Boy Bill headed Asia’s No. 1 music channel’s arrival on the country. The clubbing magic of Driven Manila and World Wide Womb, led by Domini Primero and Stephen Ku, respectively introduced the music channel with a well-deserved welcome party that brought the house down.  The launching event gathered the Metro’s movers and shakers recently at the A-Venue in Makati, where they witnessed a musical movement like they’ve never seen or heard before.
