The start of a new decade brings excitement to Circuit team.

Finally, Circuit Magazine is beyond your handy pocket magazine. Aside from the reading experience, we can now be seen every Wednesday night on Channel V’s Circuit TV and also heard live on Jam 88.3 to pump up your Thursday mornings with Circuit Radio.

Circuit Breaker welcomes 2010 with a “to-achieve” list that will surely jumpstart your New Year. We recommend you tear out the page and post it on your refrigerator door or pin it on your desktop and dresser. This will remind you to work on your goals.

This January issue will bring out the rocker in you, Watch for two of the biggest foreign acts this month-The Killers and Boys Like Girls live in Manila. Flip thru to the magazine and check out Circuit Treats.

In the concert scene of Manila, we had a double treat last year. Staged at the Fort Bonifacio Open Field with 70,000 in attendance, I braved & snaked thru the traffic just to catch Chris Brown and Rihanna in one stage. The crowd went wild when these controversial ex-lovers sang the remix of Umbrella. Seeing them together would be memorable since it would be impossible to re-stage it after their big falling out. Fortunately, I can still reminisce their beautiful music through the new Philips Go Gear Opus, which lets me listen to their music nonstop.

Let Your Cocktail Speak

Let me share to you my most effective clubbing icebreaker line, “Did you know that holding an empty glass is illegal here, let me buy you a cocktail?” We are all generous especially whenever we are chilling at a club or restaurant. It is no surprise that during our night out, we still manage to feel the buzz without the chill of an empty wallet.

As a courtesy when ordering a drink, we also offer our friends or the person you intend to get acquainted with an opportunity to order as well. As a social technique, our conversations become more diverse and animated. This keeps any party going and most probably ends the night with new acquaintances or perhaps cementing relationships.

In this issue, check out the Circuit Breaker section that features personalized cocktails. It is an interesting way to innovate gatherings with friends and knowing them with their preferred mix.
