The Vision Seekers
With pride, our June Pinoy issue of Circuit features brilliant personalities. Giving a shoutout for those who have crossed over from their usual platforms to being free from the norms, those that choose to be free from the norms and those who have become shakers in story telling through the lens of liberation.
We salute these individuals who continue to amaze our pop-culture. They unceasingly keep our drive alive and fresh. Their untiring mind is an inspiration to many. In my opinion, they are the backbone that shapes and paves a way for our forward thinking Filipino society. Their ways of expression are without fear and unapologetic. Classified as “Indie,” ‘Fashionista,” “Bohemian,” and ”Flick;” these people are indeed visionaries and catalysts that will keep our heads thinking, wondering and questioning.
Happy Independence!

Orange you glad, its still summer!
Round three of the thirty-yet rising temperature for the season. To most of us, May is the tail end of summer however this doesn’t mean the fun stops. Allow Celsius to lift the wacky and wicked side of you and indulge in more hedonistic outdoor activities.
May is not necessarily all about going out and basking under the sun. It is equally exciting for nocturnal tricks; Open Bar continues the roof deck crawl. While Toff’s World shares his summer OST that fits best when hosting “cook out” and stay-in celebrations as Meet The Pack gal’s MJ provide us with different party themes and venue. While for me, I like the sunset cruises giving an awesome experience sipping cocktails while gazing the sky burst into color orange.
So far, how was your summer? You’re bound to go wild: here are our post foolish management: (1) Whatever happens, delete it from your phone; (2) think before tweeting; and (3) review your FB public setting before posting.
Or, if you’re the type who loves to take vanity photos. …

Bursting with Anticipation
This issue commands city-heat-busters by our high-heeled sorority starting with some roof-decked shindigs of Bianca Salonga and Angela Atayde. Meet Pack Industry’s MJ Cordova belts out her thirst and Melody Co indulges a quick joy ride over -night escape from the city.
And to most of us, summer is defined with extended stays, rebooked flights, hangover litany and Berrocca fizzes in our bottled water held in our hands as we keep our smiles to mask our anxiety, if we are departing from Caticlan or Kalibo -The Boracay tales are relived. Circuit Breaker has prepared the island’s tactical code to combat this awesome madness this season.
We’re also happy to announce that Circuit App is now available for FREE with your Nokia Windows 8 phone. Spontaneous night-out becomes more of a habit with its real time party notifications in your phone. No excuse to miss out the happiest happening this time.
Happy 420 to Everyone!

Her Bejeweled Passions
It’s not a secret that supermodel Tweetie De Leon-Gonzalez has an alter ego to her glam persona and that is being an accomplished accessories designer for some years now. Currently, she already has her own accessories boutique named after her initials, TDLG, which sells irresistibly elegant pieces.
As for her current biz squeeze, “The shop is doing well and I’m enjoying it a lot. It keeps me happily busy.” Mind you, she’s the one personally designing every piece depending on her mood. “Sometimes, it just hits you sporadically. Sometimes, it comes during a typhoon; sometimes it comes as dry as the Sahara. I try to introduce my new collection steadily, so even when I have a complete set in mind, I release it little by little so as not to bombard my market with too many things.”
With every design, she puts her heart into it. “Each piece has gone through a series of refinements until I am satisfied with it.”
So don’t be surprised if you get to see a whole …

Tweetie Thoughts
By Apryl Galang
Hands down, Tweetie De Leon-Gonzalez tops most beautiful lists of all time. Everybody still goes gaga for this morena beauty who has successfully made a name for herself and still continues to achieve bigger heights.
For all the huge reverence that she’s getting from the people who admire her, Tweetie is totally overwhelmed with everything, “It feels good that they recognize me. It feels good to be worthy to be asked, to be tweeted about or to be put in Instagram. It makes me feel special, definitely!”
From afar, you’d be intimidated with her presence since she’s a model and an achiever but once she warms up, you’ll find a lady who can goof around. In fact, she is also game to answer our surprise fill-in-the-blanks sort of interview. Forget about her beauty essentials for now, because we’ve got Ms. Tweetie dishing out her most candid thoughts.
Exercise makes my day.
My proudest achievements are my kids.
I love what I do but I can never have enough sleep. I …

Chinatown Gets Even More Luckier
A new upscale mall located in the heart of Binondo celebrates an auspicious day with an equally-auspicious combination of events: a dragon dance, a dazzling aerial performance, a fashion show, and an appearance by none other than President Benigno Aquino III himself. Lucky Chinatown, the latest venture by Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, held its official launch with a feast of the sights, sounds, and flavors it will be bringing to Manila for years to come. The mall is part of a massive urban renewal project designed to revitalize Binondo as one of the country’s most prosperous and culturally rich districts. The launch was only a taste of the good fortune Lucky Chinatown promises to bring to Binondo. With a bright new star shining right in its very heart, the future of Manila’s Chinatown looks very lucky indeed.
Lucky Chinatown is located at Reina Regente St. corner Dela Reina St., Binondo, Manila.

Hot Pot Hai at Ginzadon
Hot pot was originally prepared by fisherfolk in China’s Yangtze River to ward off the cold winter winds. Thin slices of meat, seafood, vegetables, noodles, dumplings and condiments are added and cooked in a steaming pot at the center of the table, shared among everyone.
You can now have the same hot pot experience, Japanese style, at Ginzadon, with its new hot pot offerings. Choose from Yosenabe (Php570+), Nabeyaki Udon (Php520+), Mizutake (Php450+), Oden (Php320+), and Gyoza Nabe (Php288+).…
