Motorola together with Eventscape Manila have once again made waves to the shores of Boracay as they presented the first Sem Break Confidential Event. The two-day event was flocked by new faces of the hottest gals and guys in the metro who got wet and wild on their vacation. Motorola made sure that these party aficionados filled their weekend with cool beach challenges, sunset lounging at The Tides Hotel and all-night partying making the venue---the ‘it’ scene on the island.

The Mobile Club

A hip masquerade party marked the launch of the newest innovation in clubbing, the Luminaria Bubble Bar. In a stylish event to unveil the ultra-chic mobile club welcomed the lucky guests who enjoyed a sophisticated clubbing experience. Livening up the whole party was Calypso DJs—Marie Garcia, Luke Orbos and Mark Nicosci who spinned out their upbeat mixes. The venue infuses the innovative and up-to-the-minute technologies like the “Stark” architectural image projectors & interactive tables, while other pieces of furniture are ultra-chic & hip from Italian brand, Minotti.

A Hollywood-like Extravaganza

Spectacular old-Hollywood glam took over the runway that featured Freeway’s Holiday Collection by design newbie Mel Orlina and the introduction of their newest endorser, actress Anne Curtis at Embassy Superclub. A majestic illusion inspired by 20s French fashion stood against the angular catwalk along with brocade walls. The fashion show was a display of everything vintage, whimsical, and avant-garde with models transformed into beautiful 20s glamour girls clad in a flurry of pleating and ruching.

The world’s original cream liqueur, Baileys Irish Cream, has made history again with the introduction of the two newest flavor to their line, Bailey’s with a hint of Mint Chocolate and Bailey’s with a hint of Crème Caramel. To celebrate the launch was a grand ‘B’--lowout party held at Decagon, Silvercity, Ortigas. It was a night that rejoiced the two new variants. Guests were able to drink their favorite variant to their hearts’ desire while leaving a special taste in the mind.

Make way for the highly anticipated arrival of cosmetic brand Kiehl’s Since 1851. At the grand launch, New York Glam was the best befitting dress code to capture the foreign brand’s striking qualities of being high efficacious, homeopathic and herbal remedies. The shop opened in the heart of the new Greenbelt 5 as one of the flagship stores in Asia. The 40-square meter space sports a classic design and is heralded as a one-stop beauty and skincare shop.

ROCK N’ REGAL at Rocktronica

The next stop for Chivas Live was Embassy Club considered by most as the zenith of the local club scene. What can you expect from a venue that has seen all kinds of foreign and local acts let loose their sound and fury? Chivas’ answer was the wildly successful “Rocktronica”. Leading the pack was Razorback front man, Kevin Roy and the legendary guitarist Jun Lopito who joined the fab four DJ spinsters ignite Embassy’s dance floor. History was made that evening when the six musicologists cranked out electronica versions of cult rock classics such as Everybody, Led Zeppelin’s Whole Lotta Love and even REM’s To the One I Love. But it was the Pinoy rock gem Beep Beep that dissolved the crowd into party hysterics. Truly an enjoyable hard rock performance at Embassy that only Chivas Regal has pulled off.

Local fashion giant Bayo recently introduced their newest endorser to join the ranks of young, talented, modern Filipinas with none other than KC Concepcion. With a grand launch held at the Shangri-La Plaza Mall, the anticipation grew even bigger when she finally came out on stage during the fashion show. Definitely a must-see event that saw KC effortlessly walk down the runway for the first time after her four-year-stay in Paris.
