Rx
February 14th, in Events, Movies by Apryl Galang, 1 Comment
TV actor, singer, director, and producer, Robert Seña, breaks from his comic and Broadway image through starring in a suspense-filled 15-minute all-student produced independent film entitled, “Rx.”
4thwall Pictures, composed of 15 students, conceptualized the story from its theme to its conflict and execution to make Rx a not-the-ordinary student film. Inspired by a Hollywood treatment in Nip-tuck and Grey’s Anatomy, the team brought the film to the local setting to cater the local audiences, especially the students and medical practitioners.
Rx also stars Seña’s student and fellow stage actor, CJ Mangahis, and Star Magic’s Mark Denzel Delgado.
The film is part of Colegio de San Juan de Letran’s first Cinema Knights, a short film festival initiated by the Institute of Communication, where six student films created by senior Communication Arts major will battle against each other in concept and execution.
Together with the other films namely “B_tter,” “Mate,” “Mico,” “Resbak,” and “Size 9,” Rx will be shown in Letran from February 21-24 at the Colegio’s Student Center Auditorium,…
