Instituto Cervantes Manila, with the Embassy of Spain to the Philippines, presents the 12th European Film Festival - Cine Europa. Since its introduction in 1998 as the gift of the European Union to the Filipino people on the occasion of the centennial of Philippine independence, Cine Europa has attracted more than 40,000 viewers every year to the screenings of quality films from the different Member States of the EU, showing the diversity of European culture.
