Looking In: Araceli Limcaco-Dans Retrospective
April 1st, in Events, Exhibit by Apryl GalangThis retrospective exhibition gathers a total of 185 portraits, still life paintings, drawings, prints, as well as works in various media from the Philippine Women’s University, Ateneo de Manila University, several private collections and the family’s collection from celebrated artist and art educator Araceli Limcaco-Dans, on view this April. A series of corollary lectures are also scheduled - “Traditional and Contemporary Philippine Art” on April 2 with acclaimed visual artist Dr. Brenda Fajardo; “Calypso: The Pig that would have become Lechon” on April 9 with writer and entertainment columnist Nestor Torre, and pictures by Araceli Limcaco-Dans; and “My Evolution as a Visual Artist” on April 30 with Araceli Dans.
