Shui Mo (Water & Ink) Traditional Chinese Painting Workshop
January 23rd, in Events, Workshop by Apryl Galang
Learn the fundamentals of traditional Chinese brush painting—from holding the brush and basic strokes to style and artistic values. With the step-by-step instruction from teacher Arsenia Lim (Pieh Tsai Shiu Yuin), try your hand at painting bamboo, orchids, and birds on rice paper.
Yuchengco museum is offering a new series of Chinese painting classes for the absolute beginner (open to participants 18 years and above) starting January 29, Saturday from 2-5PM ongoing until April 2, 2011. Over the course of ten weeks, learn a new skill, get creative, relax your mind, and meet budding artists from different levels. Each class begins with a demonstration from Ms. Lim, followed by a hands-on practice period.
