The traditional Chinese painting workshop facilitated by Arsenia Lim (Pieh Tsai Shiu-Yuin) is a great opportunity to hone your artistic skills, try something new, and meet budding artists. The Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) starts the summer heat with this year’s PETA Summer Program as enrollment opens this February.
As a theater company for advocacy, PETA continues to raise the cause of education and development through its annual summer program using a unique Integrated Theater Arts approach.
PETA’s workshop curriculum combines the different disciplines of theater, such as creative drama, sounds and music, body movements and dance, creative writing, and visual arts into one fun-filled workshop.

IGDA Manila Holds Manila Game Jam 2013
On January 25 to 27, the International Game Developers Association – Manila Chapter (IGDA Manila) presents Manila Game Jam 2013 (MGJ2013), the biggest annual game-making event in the country. As part of the worldwide Global Game Jam, students, professional and hobbyist game developers will create games in just 48 hours, with the top games being awarded honors and special prizes.
MGJ2013 is the 4th game jam organized by IGDA Manila. Last year’s game jam had more than 150 participants forming teams and producing more than 30 games.
This year, IGDA Manila partners with iACADEMY in Makati, bringing Global Game Jam to more locations in the Philippines. The jam will be held at iACADEMY’s new building: Mondragon House, located at 324 Sen. Gil Puyat Ave. (formerly Buendia Ave.), Salcedo Village, Makati.
