A leading organization in Electrical and Electronics Engineering excellence through its service to the institute, college, university and the community, UP Circuit is the home of the best individuals in numerous fields – leadership, academics, sports and the arts.

UP Circuit is a university-recognized, Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) based, academic organization of the University of the Philippines - Diliman that aims to develop academic excellence, holistic growth, and global competitiveness among EEE students as future engineers. It has established within itself what it takes to be a premier organization in the university. It has organized two seasons of ChargEEEng UP, co-presented four years of LoveRage in the UP Fair, serviced numerous public high schools through AKBAY (Advanced Knowledge for the Betterment of the Aspiring Youth) and Sibol, tutorials, review sessions and volunteer works within the institute, the college and the community, and many other projects that helped students within and outside EEEI.

On its 17th year, UP Circuit will once again hold the much-awaited event of the year –SquEEEze 2011. Since 1998, the organization sees it as a way of uniting EEE students from different universities and colleges in the spirit of camaraderie and friendly competition, and contributing to the development of the field of EEE by showcasing the best of its proponents endorsed by the College of Engineering, the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Institute and the Department of Science and Technology - Science Education Institute, SquEEEze has been actively participated in by over thirty schools for the past 13 years.

In its 14th year, SquEEEze takes it to the next level – a bigger and more intense quiz show awaits our participants. Their knowledge in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) topics such as Circuit Analysis, Electromagnetics, Electronics, Digital Design, Computer Architecture, Communications, Power Systems, and Electrical Machines will be put to the test. Teams of three students from each school will have to hurdle a written exam eliminations and a sudden death round from which ten teams will vie for the championship in the exciting final round.

The winning teams - Champion, 1st and 2nd runners-up will receive a plaque and ₱25,000, ₱15,000 and ₱5,000 respectively.
