October is packed!

October 4th, in Editor's Note by Apryl Galang

An early surge of merry making in the air is felt as this month rolls in. There’ll be a lot of happenings and with that allow me to share with you things and events that are blocked in my calendar.

A self-confessed theater rat, I can’t wait to see Tinkerbell. The name always made me believe that fairies exist and magic dust will make me fly. The spectacular musical Peter Pan will surely bring out the child-like in me especially with all the flying on stage.

Hands down, wine always fascinates me. Choosing the right wine to pair with my meal is always a meticulous process. With that, I have already reserved my ticket to the Philippine Wine Fiesta and check out Backus’s latest concoction.

I have also marked a day and allow my mind to wonder, question and to be refreshed by a visual treat. For this month, I’m giving my full support to Filipino contemporary artists in a collaborative exhibit dubbed as Articulation. I will be doing the opposite – I will suspend my articulation and just immerse myself with their various forms of expression.

And lastly, the mosh pit is my ultimate calling at the Black Eyed Peas concert. This time there is no stopping me from dancing especially with the Zombettes (Mia Ayesa, Sanya Smith and Ornusa Cadness) doing the opening act.

I know there are more to see, watch and parties to complete my own Grid Calendar. Do map out yours this early on. Before I forget, we’re moving towards our Eighth Volume. Expect more voices to give you different forms of dynamism to your favorite eventzine.

Have an awesome October!
