Fun for Charity’s Sake
October 6th, in Circuit Training by Apryl GalangSofitel Philippine Plaza MMQ recently presented its Best Le Cabaret show ever! The wine began to flow at 7PM and continued throughout the night. Patrons moved to the beat of such talented multicultural artists as the Philippines own Skarlet Brown Band, the E-Force Dance Troupe, Czech Cabaret performer Marnie Hurst, British jazz singer Jacqueline Silver, Scottish pop singer Diane Ross, and French choreographer Virginie Di Carlo, among others.
Guests enjoyed renditions and choreography from many crowd favorites, like “Show Me How You Burlesque,” “Hey Big Spender,” “Empire State of Mind,” and, of course, “Cabaret.” With male audience members decked out in top hats and tuxedo tails, and ladies in feathers and lots of sparkle, champagne flowed, and the dancing and gaiety continued well till past midnight!
