Just Keep Going. Three words that define TV Personality and our March Cover Girl, Coleen Garcia and it basically shows on how she thrives in a cutthroat industry. Although, she looks so sweet and fragile, this girl surely knows how push herself and accomplish more.

She sets the records straight: “I have so many mottos, but out of everything, I guess the most important thing is that in spite of everything whether they be good or bad; neither will last forever. So it’s good to keep going and see what happens next.”
Coleen is serious with her profession and she’s setting the highest aims as early as now. “It’s really important to have goals to drive you to achieve. So it’s important to know exactly what you want in life so you can figure out what to do next.”
Mind you, she’s not the type who’s going to stick with being bubbly onscreen but rather she’s looking forward to varieties in the future. “I want to be able to do different things and I’m open to different opportunities. I don’t want to limit myself to one specific goal.”

On the flipside, Coleen is just like any other girl who has a very sunny disposition. We even stalked her social online account thru Instagram and Twitter to confirm it. So in the name of the hottest season, we challenged her to reveal her summer short lists and we weren’t disappointed at all.
Where you heading this summer? My only break is Holy Week, I just want to go to the beach. And because I’ve never been to Coron, Palawan so hopefully I can finally go there.
All time favorite summer destination. “You should at least experience Laboracay once, if you’re really into that. It’s like Spring Break in the States.”
Yeah, Laboracay again!“I’ll see! I want to! It will be my 5th year going to Laboracay. I’ve been going to Boracay every Labor Day even before it was called Laboracay. If I go, I think this will be my last year to go. But it all depends. I really go because of my friends.”

Any tips to share as a certified Laboracay-goer? “Expect the place to be really crowded. So if you’re claustrophobic, never mind! Be prepared to wear nothing but your swimsuit or a sando, or a cover up all the time. For me, we leave the hotel by brunch then go around the island, do some water sports in between, sometimes we go island hopping then after that Sunset Parties, that’s the big highlight for me! After which, you go straight to the nighttime parties. Just bring waterproof bags.”
Really no disco nap after the sunset parties? “No! Because you’re already having fun! The momentum’s already there right? Then you’re going to break it just because you want to sleep. Sayang lang!”
Hot Tracks. “I’d go for very chill music. Especially when we’re in the car, it lessens the stress when you listen to songs that you can sing along to. It makes time go a little bit faster at the same time, you’re enjoying.”
Sunny Staples. “I love wearing lots of cropped sleeveless tops, highwaisted shorts and skirts, long maxi dresses for the beach and sandals.”
Cool Covet. “I eat so much ice cream! My favorite flavor? Well, it depends on the brand, oppsss it’s like I’ve tried a lot. You know what’s really nice? the in-house gelatos of the restaurants are really yummy. I really love gelatos. I like the Morelli’s Pistachio and Dulce de Leche, Sebastian’s, Selecta Rocky Road, but I’ve tried Milkcow recently, it’s really good and it’s also organic.
Her Newly Acquired Healthy Mantra. “Actually, I have no diet at all but rather I try to maintain a healthier lifestyle. I limit myself every day to eat these many sweets. I actually lure myself into eating fruits. I stopped eating fast food also. If you start eating good, you’ll feel it eventually, your face will look fresh, you’ll feel more energized, you’ll be happier and much more lighter. You’re gonna be so in love with that lifestyle so you won’t go back anymore.”
Obsessing Her Fitspiration. “I’ve got a lot! I look at a lot of these fit girls on Instagram and they’re not really famous. I’m really picky with bodies like the butt has to be like these and the curves have to be nice. I have high standards when it comes to my fitspiration, just so you know, you pick the most unattainable goal, the hardest and the most impossible one to reach, so if you fall somewhere in the middle, okay pa rin. I also go to the gym, as often as I can. I haven’t achieved it yet, there’s still a long way but ’ll keep progressing though.”
