Following the success of the first release, Jay Tablante, certified geek, comic/anime/cosplay enthusiast and a passionate photographer, gathers his best and boldest images in a sequel entitled Techniques in Cosplay Photography: Geekology 2.0 released by Anvil Publishing Inc (publishing arm of National Bookstore).
Geekology 2.0 will be launched during the 9th year anniversary of Digital Photographer Philippines.
Tablante will give a technical demonstration on photography techniques to be followed by a book signing at the Phottix booth.
Cosplay photographers,comics, and anime fans are promised to marvel at the photographs and images painstakingly produced for this book.
Jay Tablante shares his experiments and notes on cosplay photography featuring celebrities as comic personas. Among the featured models are Marian Rivera as Jean Grey of Marvel Comics, Jinri Park as Megumi Oca/Jamie Robinson/Sailor Mars of Toei Animation and Chunli of Capcom, Carle Abellana as Phoenix of Marvel Comics, Nikki Veron Cruz as Alexandra Trese, Alodia Gosiengfiao and Yaya Han as Harley Quinn and Cat Woman, Ryza Cenon as Lara Croft of Crystal Dynamics.
