Hothletes are Kickin’ It

The traffic leading to third installment of the Clear Dream Match was extremely horrible that night (why didn’t it surprise us?) but thankfully, the sky was clear and no gust of wind to warn us if it should rain. When we found our seat and got settled, we immediately took out our pen and paper just so we don’t miss the “action” while checking out every player and see how they fare on a statistic that sports analysts never bothered to look at.

So after more than 90 minutes of straining our eyes and necks, we’ve found new faces (and some few familiar ones but we have really not laid eyes on not until this match came along) that we should watch out for. Move over James, Phil, Misagh or Rob Gier, here are some of the new ‘hothletes’ in the football field:

Jayen on The Hot and The Young….

Patrick Deyto 2

Patrick Deyto (Goalkeeper No.1)

He may look boyishly cute but this 24-year-old home-grown goalkeeper (who could pass as Korean) continuously wows football fans with his amazing saves, all the while keeping gorge.

Nick O’Donnell (Goalkeeper No.2)

Due to his outstanding performance in college football, game enthusiasts are keeping their eye on this former Ateneo goalkeeper. And of course, with his heart-warming smile, female fans will also keep an eye on him.

Kenshiro Daniels (No. 46)

Another cutie on the football field. He maybe young (he’s only 19) but don’t underestimate this midfielder who’s already playing for the national team. It doesn’t hurt that he can draw a female crowd as well.

Christina on the Alpha Males…

Joaquin Canas (No.33)

He scored the lone goal for the night; that’s enough reason to check him out. But even before that moment, this Spanish mestizo has caught several eyes because he can’t seem to stand for at least a second in the same spot. He just loves chasing the ball.

Simone Rota (No. 29)

He was running, handling the ball, and challenging players. The mere sight of his Mohawk makes him standout among the clean-cut shaves of his teammates. Add to that his towering stance and perfectly tanned skin.

Mark Hartmann (No.14)

He’s tall, he’s handsome and he has Bekham-esque midfielder skills. Shall I continue why he is one hunky footballer?
