My favorite lyrics from Disclosure are from the song “You & Me” featuring Eliza Doolittle. The lyrics are: “Rolling with the punches/So they won’t get inside our happiness/Love is always hunted/But your arrows are soaring through my chest”. These are my favorite lyrics because they’re about doing everything in your power to make it work with the person you love. The words add a sweet, romantic feel to the upbeat, perfect-for-partying beats and tunes of Disclosure.

Romantic in a weird way. These lyrics are creepy. So creepy. The song is obviously about falling in love, but I think that they kind of take it to a level of weird here. I get so conflicted, because I absolutely love this track from a musical stance. Also the lyrics cause of its weirdness

Lyrics from this catchy song gives me the vibes of young love, freedom and friendship. Listening to this track makes me realize of wanderlust in every way possible with of course the person you want to be with. Being young makes us realize of the things we would want to do to enjoy life, even if that means taking risks.

I like this part because as a girl, I have boundaries and I’ll try to overcome those boundaries with someone I love. I’ve never had a boyfriend since birth until this year and I’m ready to deal with the challenges that come with our relationship. I know that I’ve found the right guy for me and I’m not letting him go anywhere.
I’m so in love with the lyrics of this song because it reminds me of how I fell in love with someone.
Sam Smith’s vocals added a plus factor to this beautiful song. And in addition, the rhythm and the beat are so sensual and spine-tingling.

‘I don’t need you, telling me how to be, telling me how to be’
My favorite is this one from Disclosure’s ‘WHITE NOISE’. It’s so tempting to pick ‘Latch’ or ‘When the Fire Starts to Burn’ as they are stellar songs, much like everything else on the SETTLE album. I’m picking White Noise because of the lyrics that speak to me. I feel like it urges one to be brave despite perhaps being stuck in a bad relationship or a bad situation in general. Being brave enough to know that it is never alright to be trampled upon, to have your feelings played, and knowing just when enough is enough, and learning to fight back with the tools you have at your disposal.
What’s surprising is that you don’t usually expect lyrics like this from an EDM song. What’s not is why Disclosure is awesome.

Without a doubt, my favorite lyrics in the album is from the song “Second Chance.” The lyrics are all but

Aside from the ambient noises heard throughout the song, these are all that you’ll hear in it. What I like about it is that it’s simple, direct and it says what it wants to say, no drama.

My favorite line from my favorite Disclosure song, Help Me Lose My Mind. In love with this song ever since I saw on YouTube their set during the Pitchfork Music Festival in France. The words may not speak to me on a very personal level, but rather it defines my feelings for good music in general.
And you know it’s good when after listening to it, it would just leave you breathless and would hold you speechless. Good music would always speak in ways words couldn’t describe. Just like the effect this Disclosure song had on me the first time.

I discovered Disclosure mid last year, in the darkest hours of my life. I felt that their music somewhat save me from my misery and brought me back to listening to upbeat dance music and cherish 90′s house music again + continue life and for me to not give up amidst trials and tribulations. “Defeated No More” has become my motivational song and favorite song from their album.
Disclosure’s Settle album has become the soundtrack of my life.

the way Sam Smith sings it is so mesmerizing, it is perfect and it drew me in to the song. the beats and the way they construct the song was all around amazing,it makes you feel nostalgic. i can’t tell you how many times i’ve played this song over and over.
