Johann Espiritu will be moderating Photo 1: Cameras and Techniques, every Wednesday, starting January 29, 2013 from 6-8PM at Silverlens Galleries. The photography lessons will have five sessions and will culminate on February 26, 2014.
Designed for the beginning photographer, students learn about camera handling and operation, principles of exposure, shutter speed, aperture, focal length, and basic composition. The course outline includes shooting assignments and critiques, which encourage students to practice photography techniques and to develop confidence behind the lens. There are no prerequisites for this course.
Johann Espiritu has had several exhibits, including his Silverlens exhibit last May 2012, “Busted”. His work has been published in books, magazines, and even featured in limited edition postage stamps. A lawyer by profession, Johann was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2001 and to the New York State Bar in 2004.
