The Butler is an American historical drama based on the real-life account of Eugene Allen, who served as a White House Butler from 1952 to 1986 and saw how history was made.
Directed by Lee Daniels, The Butler features an all-star ensemble cast that includes Forest Whitaker, Oprah Winfrey, John Cusack, Jane Fonda, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Terrence Howard, Lenny Kravitz, James Marsden, David Oyelowo, Vanessa Redgrave, Allan Rickman, Liev Schreiber and Robin Williams among others.
