Resorts World Manila, in cooperation with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) and the Department of Tourism (DOT) celebrates the artistic legacy of the Philippine jeepneys with the Pinoy Ultimate Jeepney Design Competition.
The competition is looking for 13 of the most creative and flamboyant jeepney designs in the country with the theme “Celebrating Philippine Icons.” These designs will be translated to real, full-scale jeepneys in Pasay City.
Submission of concept board entries is open until September 30, 2013. Shortlisted entries will be announced on October 3, 2013, wherein each entry will be awarded a seed money of P60,000 for the full-scale painting and modification. The announcement of the winning PUJ entry will be on December 20 via the RWM website, with a P100,000 grand prize at stake.
