With the onset of spas in the metro, a lounge that focuses on foot massages is something uncommon that everybody must try. I bet, if you are one of those people who have foot fetish, the recently-opened Foot Massage Lounge at Bonifacio Global City will be your new favorite destination in BGC!
Just before the end of 2014, Foot Massage Lounge invited friends from the media to experience an hour of relaxation that rewards the most hard-working part of our body: our feet.
First impression lasts and surely Cat Ilacad, the brain behind this lounge and the successful Posh Nails, and her team had this in mind while designing their receiving/lounge area.
The eye-catching victorianesque chairs will definitely make feel anyone like a queen while the couch (complete with the posh book shelf) looks like a piece taken out of a special library. I went there at nighttime, allowing me to see the warm light that completes the elegant look of the lounge. I don’t think anyone would mind waiting for their turn with this setting.
The black and gold theme continues as you go further into Foot Massage Lounge. I lost count with the number of identical doors which, I later found out, cover the rooms for singles, couples, and multiple accommodations, even for groups of five and six.
When a door was opened for me, rows of customized recliner chair and TVs (I got the room for six all for myself!) greeted me. With the ambiance that spells relaxation, I know that I’m in for a treat.
Fast forward to the massage, the therapist used a scent-free balm, a good choice by Foot Massage Lounge as the balm crosses out the smelly and sticky effect of the commonly-used massage oils and lotions. The service given was the ‘Deluxe Massage’ that lasted for about 60 minutes. A little bit of massage on the head, arms and hands till the business boils down to my tootsies. It was a total pampering for my tired feet that (in my head) were more than grateful to receive a combination of Shiatsu, Swedish and hammer-type pressure massage.
Aside from the deluxe massage, the lounge also offers the “Signature Massage” that lasts 75 minutes and covers the whole body including the feet.
Every visit at Foot Massage Lounge, borrowing Cat’s words, is a 75-minute bliss that helps people forget what’s happening outside. It is perfect place for those craving a good pampering, offering quality services with the ambience to match.
