The Adelfe Enu Crea Sorority (AEC) Sorority is the first and only business sorority in the University of the Philippines Diliman. The sorority is committed to the pursuit of business excellence as it aims to develop business ethics, discipline, civic-consciousness through the initiation of various activities and projects.
The Adelfe Enu Crea Sorority was founded on April 2, 1991 in the Cesar E.A. Virata School of Business (formerly known as the College of Business Administration), University of the Philippines Diliman. It evolved from the Pan Xenia Ladies’ Corps, an auxiliary arm of the Pan Xenia Fraternity, the oldest brotherhood in the country.
This year, AEC will be celebrating its 23rd year of business excellence and sisterhood-23 years of upholding its values of industry, integrity and ability. With the theme: Ascending Towards Greatness, we will be taking AEC to greater heights as it unfolds another chapter of developing empowered women ready to serve the society.
Broaden Your Horizon. This January 12, an outreach program will be held for Kanlungan ni Maria, a foundation that provides a family to neglected and homeless elders by providing them love and attention as well as their basic needs.
Rise Above. You-turn, a seminar on personality development will be held in the Kamia Residence Hall in UP Diliman on January 15, with Pau Miranda and Patty Laurel as guest speakers.
Find Out What’s Beyond. On January 18, another talk by the alumnae of the sorority will be held in the Virata School of Business in UP Diliman. This aims to provide UP students a glimpse of business opportunities after graduation as well as real-life experiences which can help them to be more equipped as they enter the corporate world.
Overlooking the Cityscape. A gallery exhibit will be held in the 3rd floor, front lobby of the Virata School of Business
from January 21 to January 24 which aims to showcase the sorority’s history, culture and core values.
Sky is the Limit. This is one of the most anticipated events of the duration of AEC’s celebration wherein a Grand Pakain will be held on January 21 with free food to be given to the students of UP Diliman.
Share the View. Lollicakes, instead of roses will be distributed around the campus on January 24.
Celebrate the High. As culmination of AEC’s celebration, an Anniversary dinner will be held on January 25 wherein resident and alumnae sisters, along with the resident and alumnae brothers from the Pan Xenia Fraternity are
invited to a night of merriment.
As the Adelfe Enu Crea Sorority enters a new phase, it will take everything to a whole new level with one thing unchanged: a lifetime commitment of sisterhood.
