Who says parties are all about fun?
Viber, the global messaging application, showed the world how it’s possible to have a ball AND take the initiative in raising the much-needed funds for the rehabilitation of Yolanda survivors with “United Republiq: An Electronic Music Assembly for a Cause”.
Held recently at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds, the concert brought some of the world’s top DJs to Manila namely Swedish DJ Axwell, Dutch DJ and house music producer Nicky Romero and Swedish DJ duo No ID. These DJs voluntarily waved their talent fees and donated the proceeds of the concert to World Vision.
The United Republiq event also showcased the formidable talents of local DJ heavyweights led by Ace Ramos, Mars Miranda, Martin Pulgar and Marc Naval.
Beyond the bright lights and the pulsating grooves, United Republiq stands out as one of the entertainment industry’s biggest fundraisers for the typhoon victims, with its estimated earnings of seven million pesos aimed at saving lives and rekindling hope among our Filipino brothers.
